Privacy Policy — Anchorly

1. What we collect

When you create an account we collect your email address and name (from Google OAuth or what you provide). When you use the dashboard we store the content you create — links, portfolio sections, profile settings, and your uploaded avatar and CV.

2. Analytics data

When someone visits your public profile we record an anonymous page view. We do not use cookies or fingerprinting. Visitors are identified by a one-way SHA-256 hash of their IP address and User-Agent — this hash cannot be reversed to identify an individual. We record the referrer hostname, device type (mobile / desktop / tablet), and timestamp. No personal data about your visitors is collected or stored.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Paystack. We do not store your card details or mobile money credentials. We receive a webhook confirmation from Paystack when a payment succeeds and store only the plan, amount, and date.

4. File storage

Uploaded files (avatar images and CV PDFs) are stored on Cloudflare R2. Files are served via a public CDN URL attached to your profile. Deleting your avatar, CV, or account removes the associated files from storage.

5. How we use your data

We use your email to send a welcome email on signup, a subscription confirmation when you upgrade to Pro, and an account deletion confirmation. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account permanently removes all associated data including your profile, links, sections, analytics, and uploaded files.
